The Professional Skills Course (Core) is delivered by FRESH and administered by the Society, the course will be held online on the dates starting in September 2026.

After the Event (ATE) Insurance is a specialist form of legal expenses insurance that is taken out after a dispute has arisen. ATE insurance typically covers liability for an opponent’s legal costs, as well as certain disbursements such as court fees, expert reports and barristers’ fees, should the case be unsuccessful. This enables claimants to pursue meritorious claims with greater confidence, reducing the potential financial exposure associated with litigation.

In the demands of a legal career, it’s easy to keep moving from one deadline to the next without taking time to reflect on what you really want, what’s holding you back, and what might need to change. This interactive 60-minute session gives you the opportunity to pause, reflect, and explore your own version of being unstoppable.

The following Electives, delivered by FRESH and administered by the Society, will be held online on the following dates. This year the course is a combination of online training (12 hours) and eLearning (12 hours). Each course has a maximum of 16 delegates.
