The Law Society has launched a consultation on the TA6 Property Information Form (5th edition-2024). The Law Society are seeking engagement with conveyancing professions in the coming months to discuss the issues relating to the new edition of the TA6 form.

Law Society - Special General Meeting:
As you may have seen from the legal press, on Thursday 20th June 2024, The Law Society announced it will be holding a Special General Meeting on Tuesday 23rd July 2024 at 2pm. The hybrid meeting follows the receipt of a requisition from 100 members under bye-law 22 (1).
The release of the TA6 Property Information Form (5th edition) 2024 in March has resulted in the Property Lawyers Actions Group ((PLAG) calling for a Special General Meeting of Law Society Members. There will be a debate and vote on a motion of no confidence in the Law Society’s members who undertake conveyancing.
