We are delighted to announce that the legal sector supporting your community is coming together to bring justice to those most in need on Wednesday 79th May at the 2023 Nottingham Legal Walk. Registration details to follow!
The walk is an opportunity to raise funds for the Access to Justice Foundation’s local branch the Midland Legal Support Trust and help generate new grants for the front line legal advice charities that support marginalised individuals, families, and groups across the UK.
This is a chance to enjoy some fresh air with your colleagues, friends, and family members (both human and canine) at your own pace and do something that helps truly change lives for the better. We can’t do it without your support!
Why should you take part?
We simply can't overcome the effects of the huge reduction in government and local authority funding over the past few years. What we can do is to ensure that many of the people most in need get help who would otherwise have been denied.
By taking part in the Nottingham Legal Walk and seeking sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues, you will be helping to secure vital funds needed for this important cause.
What will happen on the day?
The Nottingham Legal Walk gathers the local legal community and supporters of access to justice to walk 8K to raise funds for the advice sector. Registration will be open between 5:00pm and 5:30pm and we ask that all participants report to register before having a photograph taken with our special guest Lead Walkers.
Registration and walk begins outside the Nottinghamshire Magistrates' Court.
Once this has been done, you are ready to set off on the walk and we wish all the best of luck!
At the end of the 8K walk, each walker will have a chance to relax, mingle and network at our post complimentary drinks reception at the Canalhouse, Canal Street, Nottingham.
