Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive

Start Date: ASAP

Office:  Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Reporting to: Head of Department 

Salary Guide: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload as part of a team, advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters, including:

• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts.

• Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures.

• Representing clients in Employment Tribunals.

• Handling TUPE transfers and redundancy consultations.

• Providing guidance on workplace disputes.

• Advising on Settlement Agreements

• Delivering HR and employment law training to clients.


Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload.

• Building strong client relationships.

• Providing practical advice tailored to client needs.

• Keeping up-to-date with changes in employment law and ensuring compliance.

• Assisting in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base.

• Working with colleagues to help clients grow this business with employment advice.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.

• Strong technical knowledge of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.

• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload.

• Excellent client care.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering results.

• A desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
