As the Head of Operations for the Nottinghamshire Law Society Michelle’s role covers many aspects, the key activities being driving growth in the membership, negotiating member benefits, securing sponsorship and organising all major events. Additionally, Michelle is the first point of contact at the Society, organises the training courses and social calendar, which is growing extensively, along with supporting the President in their role.

Her previous role was as administrator for the Music Department at Nottingham High School, where she was responsible for a busy department, including all the usual admin and financial matters, along with a significant amount of event management for shows and concerts. Prior to that, Michelle has spent time as a music teacher both in school environments and in private tuition, and has also worked as a Weight Watchers consultant for many years.

Outside of work Michelle is also a past National President of the National Association of Ladies Circle of Great Britain & Ireland, a charitable networking organisation, closely aligned to the Round Table.

Now nearly eight years into her role she has seen the launch of the member benefit scheme, a significant up-scaling of the annual awards dinner, the addition of several new events, and a an upgraded website with membership portal and significant social media presence and established for the society.
