Nottinghamshire Law Firm Hires Dispute Resolution Solicitor with over 20 Years Experience

A leading law firm based in Nottinghamshire has welcomed a new consultant solicitor to help bolster the firm's dispute resolution services.

Alan Radford has joined Richard Nelson LLP having previously worked as a partner at top 100 law firm, Browne Jacobson. In his role there, Alan served as the firm’s money laundering reporting officer and led the firm’s conveyancing quality scheme.

Managing partner at Richard Nelson LLP, Marie Dancer, expressed her delight at Alan’s appointment. She said:

“With his wealth of experience in civil procedure, we’re delighted to welcome Alan into our growing legal team. He is often consulted to provide specialist support and advice in all matters relating to professional disputes, money laundering and regulatory investigations. This experience will bring a lot of value here at Richard Nelson LLP.

“Aside from his professional skills, Alan’s also a trustee of an educational charity and allotment association. We have no doubt that he will be a great asset and we are very much looking forward to the exciting journey ahead for the firm.”

Alan is also a member of The Law Society’s professional indemnity insurance committee as well as the Nottinghamshire Law Society council with a particular brief to deal with regulatory matters.

Discussing his move to Richard Nelson LLP, Alan said:

“I have joined Richard and the other members of the team as a consultant as I was excited by the flexibility they offer. This will allow me to concentrate on and deliver excellent client services.

“The law firm already has a first class reputation for contentious trust and probate work as well as its solicitors’ regulatory and insurance specialisms. I hope to be able to grow its reputation further in these areas during my time here.”

In April last year, the firm celebrated its 20th anniversary and has recently been recognised as being one of the UK’s best workplaces for women as well as one of the UK’s best workplaces for employee wellbeing.
