We are delighted that President Lauren Crow has chosen Harmless and The Tomorrow Project as the Nottinghamshire Law Society’s charity for 2024–25.
Harmless was founded in 2007 and is the centre of excellence for self-harm and suicide prevention. We offer support, information, training and consultancy to people who self-harm, their friends and families, and professionals. We also provide suicide crisis and bereavement support through our sister service The Tomorrow Project. We know that with the right help, life can get better for those in distress.
Headquartered in Nottingham, we offer various support services across the region and over the last seventeen years have helped thousands of people to find hope. Harmless also works closely with academics and policy makers to drive change and improve service delivery on a national level, and to represent the voices of those we support.
‘I was self-harming frequently, suicidal… I don’t know where I’d be without Harmless’.
‘I was depressed, I was suicidal, I was self-harming… I cried all the time, couldn’t sleep, wouldn’t eat... I’m so grateful that Harmless have been here for me. The whole team are absolutely amazing.’
