Over the last few months, we at Hopkins Solicitors, have seen 4 members of staff receive promotions, 1 qualified as a solicitor and 3 people hired to expand our service offering at our newest office in Heanor, just north of Derby.
Lucy Hudson, qualified as a solicitor on the 8th of April 2024 and is very successfully running a full caseload in our property development team.
Because of his dedication to his clients and the quality of his work, Ian Thompson has been promoted to Partner. He heads our property development team which helps small to medium size developers acquire land and sell the plots/homes.
Lindsay Slater has been promoted to an Associate and has proven herself in being a highly successful member of our personal injury and medical negligence team, based at our head office in Mansfield.
Julie Pountney, who is celebrating 20 years at Hopkins, has been promoted to Partner due to her extensive experience and excellent client satisfaction. She heads our residential conveyancing teams across all 6 of our offices.
And lastly, but certainly not least, Laura Barker (nee Taylor), has been promoted to Partner and is head of our Nottingham office. We have watched her grow since she was a trainee and are impressed by her unwavering dedication to achieving excellent outcomes for her civil litigation clients. She is now focussing her caseload on supporting private landlords and commercial business disputes.
Hopkins new Heanor office (previously Miles & Cash) is already doing fantastic. The office is now officially a full-service office with 11 full time staff. We have had 3 new fee earners recently join this team. Sadaf Tariq, a personal injury and medical negligence solicitor. Michelle Saxton, a private family law legal executive with extensive experience. And most recently, Rachel Polley, a private client solicitor with extensive experience in wills, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, probate and trusts.
