2019: 100 Years of Women in the Law

2019 will be 100 years since the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act was passed, which paved the way for women to finally practise law – an important milestone in the slow progress towards the rights of women to fulfil their potential and gain ownership over their lives and futures.

Nottinghamshire Law Society and the Midland Circuit Women’s Forum would like to invite you to an event

to celebrate the achievements of women in the law:

Thursday 9th May 2019 – 5:30pm - Ropewalk Chambers, 24 The Ropewalk, Nottingham, NG1 5EF.

Keynote speakers:

Her Honour Judge Alison Hampton

Laura Pinkney, President of Nottinghamshire Law Society

Jayne Adams QC, Head of Ropewalk Chambers

All members of Nottinghamshire Law Society and the Midland Circuit are welcome.
