The Kevin De Silva Essay Competition has been re-launched this year with a cash prize of £350 for the winning essay and runner-up prizes of £75.
This year's essay question was set by President Philip Turton:
"How should free speech on social media be controlled?"
The evening will see the Judging panel of HHJ Godsmark QC and HHJ Polly Coe, joined by the Society's President Philip Turton, discuss this year's essay entries,giving their constructive feedback and announcing the winner and runners up.
