Edition: November 2019

We are fast approaching the end of the year which means we are busy preparing for our biggest event of the year. On the 8 November we will be transforming Village Hotel into an
a circus extravaganza for the Winter Ball.

Gin Tasting

We put on a new event on 23 October; ‘GinTasting’. A team from “The Spirits of Gin Lane” joined us at The Barley Twist to put on an excellent evening trying a range of different Gins. The Gin was paired with a different tonic and harrowing tale to give it the best ?avour and atmosphere. We were also provided with a ploughman’s platter.

We were taught all about the history of The Spirits of Gin Lane, how the inception of Gin came about and given fun facts along the way! There was an endless supply of graphic tales of Gin Lane provided by the team with an encore being requested by those attending after the event had finished.

Thank you to Bygott Biggs for sponsoring this event.
