Tuesday 19th November saw Nottinghamshire Law Society, celebrating the success of the newly qualified Solicitors and newly called Barristers at Mem Saab, Nottingham.

The gathering commenced at 7pm in the award winning restaurant Mem Saab, where they were greeted with a welcome drink and fine selection of Indian canapés and wraps.  We welcomed newly qualified Solicitors and newly called barristers from the following member firms and chambers:

President Jason Waghorne, welcomed all the guests, followed by a short speech from past President Kathryn Meir about the Society's involvement with international exchange programmes with Karlsruhe & Ghent.  On behalf of the Nottingham Junior Lawyers Division, Vice Chair Tiran Sandhu shared the activities of the division and news of their forthcoming elections.

Among our Council members present, we had Vice President Philip Turton, Deputy Vice President Janine Smith and Honorary Secretary, Shama Gupta.

As always the evening was a buzz of conversation, new connections being made and excellent food, which we thank Mem Saab for their amazing hospitality.
