On Friday 6th September, we enjoyed our first Nottinghamshire Law Society 'Clay Pigeon Shoot' held at Cockett Farm Shooting Ground, Cockett Lane, Farnsfield, Nottingham.  Huge thanks to the shooting ground for their hospitality and instructors, who tutored with humour, understanding and patience!

At first the clouds were hanging over us for our first group shoot with Ropewalk Chambers joined by Weightmans, then suddenly the heavens opened, pausing our round of clays!

Various clay targets were shot, which certainly tested the skills of the shooter, the precision of following the target, preparing to pull the trigger, not to mention making sure you say the words 'PULL' before you've even started to concentrate on where the target is flying in from!

The afternnon session was joined by members of our Society,  Julia T Betts from Ravensheadlaw, Usman Khan Immigration Solicitors, Hopkins Solicitors, Actons Solicitors, Fidler & Pepper Solicitors, MJC Law, Nottingham Law School Legal Advice Centre plus supporters of the society Oosha Ltd, Marketing Lawyers and Bygott Biggs.

In the gallery below are some great action shots of our President Jason Waghorne, plus everyone else taking aim and firing!
